The training, presented by our partners at the National Crime Victim Law Institute (NCVLI), will empower you with the tools and knowledge necessary to make a tangible difference in military-connected survivors navigating the legal system. 

This free toolkit is designed for advocates, service providers, legal personnel, law enforcement, and coordinated community response (CCR) teams who work with survivors connected to the military, including active-duty personnel, veterans, dependents, and intimate partners.

Inside the toolkit, you’ll find:

• Practical applications of the SLII framework (Surveillance, Life Invasion, Interference, Intimidation)

• Civilian–military jurisdiction considerations

• Tailored safety planning tips

• Survivor-centered examples

• Strategies for collaboration across military and civilian systems

El propósito de este conjunto de herramientas es informar y ayudar a la administración, el personal y los estudiantes de colegios y universidades a abordar la violencia doméstica, la violencia en las relaciones de pareja, la agresión sexual y el acoso (DVSAS), así como a brindar servicios de apoyo a los estudiantes vinculados a las Fuerzas Armadas de los Estados Unidos.

The purpose of this toolkit is to inform and assist college and university administration, staff, and students with addressing Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking (DVSAS) and support services for military-connected students of the U.S. Armed Forces.

The OVW JFF Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange Site Plan Submission Guidance provides grantees with clear expectations and step-by-step directions for developing the site plan required before beginning services under the Justice for Families (JFF) grant program. The guidance explains what information must be included, how to demonstrate alignment with the OVW Guiding Principles, and how to present a complete picture of the program’s physical layout, safety design, and operational approach. The guidance supports grantees in documenting their planning process and in submitting their site plans to OVW. 

This advanced webinar focuses on the issue of forced marriage among youth and the related challenges those at risk may face. It is designed to help professionals working with young people recognize warning signs, understand how these issues present, and improve their approaches to prevention, intervention, and support. This session will be co-facilitated by an advocate survivor of child-marriage and FMI staff.
