The Economic and Employment Advocacy course equips advocates and case managers with the knowledge, tools and resources to help survivors identify and access good jobs, recover and grow financially, and overcome common barriers to economic security. The course is divided into twelve 15-minute modules that can be accessed at the learner’s leisure, giving it the flexibility to fit into even the busiest schedule. Each module includes additional resources and case management materials. The course is accessible at wow.mrooms.net.

Ensuring meaningful access to justice for Limited English Proficient (LEP) litigants is an essential responsibility of the justice system. To gauge the status of language access services for litigants in domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking cases, the Center for Court Innovation and the National Center for State Courts conducted a needs assessment of courts, government agencies, and community-based organizations.

In this document, we have listed some of the outreach challenges that service providers may encounter, and some possible strategies for overcoming these challenges. This document is part of the Elder Abuse and Faith Toolkit developed by Safe Havens Interfaith Partnership Against Domestic Violence and the National Clearinghouse on Abuse in Later Life (NCALL), a program of the Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WCADV). The toolkit contains resources that will help service providers reach out to and collaborate with local faith communities about elder abuse.
