Pending OVW Approval – Save the Date!
Pending OVW Approval of our Conference Request Form, The National Institute on the Prosecution of Domestic Violence Homicide (NIPDVH) will be in person from April 28–May 1, 2026, at the Tucson Mariott University Park in Tucson, AZ.
The NIPDVH is designed for prosecutors who handle homicide cases, domestic violence cases, or both, and who seek to strengthen their ability to identify, investigate, charge, and prosecute domestic violence homicides and near-fatal cases. This national institute will challenge participants to re-examine traditional assumptions about domestic violence fatalities and to apply an evidence-based, offender-focused framework to some of the most complex and high-stakes prosecutions.
Facilitated by a multidisciplinary faculty, the curriculum will address the continuum of domestic violence homicide, including escalation and lethality factors, case evaluation, charging decisions, and trial strategies.
AEquitas will send out further information inviting prospective participants to apply at a later date.
