This project provides training and technical assistance to support law enforcement agencies in implementing policies, practices, and training aligned with the principles set forth in the Justice Department’s Identifying and Preventing Gender Bias in Law Enforcement Response to Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Guidance.

Praxis International, through the Rural Initiatives for Strengthening Equity (RISE) project, provides technical assistance and training to OVW rural grantees, subgrantees, and potential grantees and subgrantees to assist them in effectively responding to underserved rural survivors.

The Advocacy Learning Center provides training and technical assistance to victim advocates on strengthening their ability to implement individual, community, and institutional social justice advocacy within their gender-based violence programs.

The Rural Comprehensive Training and Technical Assistance project provides comprehensive training and technical assistance to grantees of the OVW Rural Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking Program.

The Strengthening Rural Advocacy (SRA) project provides training and intensive technical assistance to grantees, subgrantees, and potential grantees and subgrantees of the OVW Rural Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking Program (Rural Program) to more effectively respond to domestic violence.

This project provides a comprehensive continuum of individual and family services that promotes stronger communities by ensuring well-being, child permanency, personal growth and independence.

This project creates and pilots a self-assessment toolkit for victim service organizations that provide economic empowerment programming.

Respect Together, through the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) division, partners with Just Detention International (JDI) to support the Services for Male Survivors of Sexual Assault project which develops and implements specialized technical assistance, resources, and trainings to community-based victim service organizations focused on strengthening the awareness of and services to male survivors of sexual assault, including adult survivors of child sexual abuse. The project improves services at community-based victim service organizations for male survivors of sexual assault by providing training to support victim service organizations in building capacity and skills in working with male survivors of sexual assault, developing resources that support victim service organizations to understand, reach, and provide services to male survivors of sexual assault, and providing technical assistance to victim service organizations on understanding, reaching, and providing effective services to male survivors of sexual assault.

The National Sexual Assault Conference provides an opportunity for learning and sharing new and diverse strategies and practices for responding to all forms of sexual violence.

This project strengthens coordinated community responses to domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking by providing training and technical assistance to victim service organizations to help them build partnerships with local faith organizations and leaders.

The National Alliance for Safe Housing (NASH) implements the Safe Housing Partnerships Technical Assistance Consortium (SHPTAC) project, which provides advocates and case managers with knowledge, tools, and trauma-informed strategies to support survivors in sustaining safe and stable housing.

The Narkis Golan Initiative: Hague Convention and International Abduction Assistance for Survivors of Domestic Violence builds the expertise among victim service organizations, legal services organizations including pro bono partners, and the judiciary to address cases involving domestic violence and international border crossings with children and the capacity to address Hague Convention cases.

The Consent in Our Communities: Curriculum Development and Training to Promote Safe Relationships and Prevent Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault project provides training and technical assistance to OVW grantees, subgrantees, and potential grantees and subgrantees to increase their capacity to provide services to underserved Orthodox Jewish survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The goal of the project is to raise awareness among victim service providers about the unique needs of the Orthodox Jewish community so that organizations can develop and implement effective and culturally appropriate outreach and services.

The Strengthen Campus Needs Assessments and Strategic Planning project provides training and technical assistance that will build the OVW Campus Program grantees capacities to conduct strategic planning, assessment, and monitoring of the implementation of their campus grants.
