At Inspire Action for Social Change, our mission is to create change and improved opportunities for survivors and children experiencing barriers to safety as a result of domestic and sexual violence. We do this through customized training and individualized support designed to meet the unique needs of organizations, communities, and institutions working to end intimate partner violence.

Grant Projects

Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange Technical Assistance Project

Summary

Inspire Action for Social Change provides specialized training and technical assistance focused on enhancing and expanding the supervised visitation and safe exchange capacity of Justice for Families (JFF) Program grantees, Grants to Indian Tribal Government Program (TGP) grantees, and potential grantees, as well as STOP Formula Grant Program (STOP) subgrantees and potential subgrantees and potential grantees. The "Inspired TA and Training" helps support and enhance OVW grant programs and communities providing and/or developing supervised visitation and safe exchange services for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking, child sexual abuse, and dating violence. Inspire Action for Social Change provides ongoing technical assistance and training to grantees funded by the Office on Violence Against Women.

Working with Infants, Children, and Youth in Supervised Visitation Programs

Summary

Inspire Action for Social Change provides Justice for Families grantees and their project partners specialized training and technical assistance specific to working with infants, children, and youth exposed to domestic violence in supervised visitation programs. This training supports supervised visitation programs and community partners working to shift practices and improve the safety, resilience, and well–being for children exposed to violence.
