Description

The 2026 View from the Bench webinar will feature a panel of three current and former tribal court judges in conversation about topics at the intersection of tribal law and domestic violence. Topics will include tribal court jurisdiction and the interplay of tribal, state, and federal law. The panelists will share about their paths to the judiciary and describe the unique challenges and tensions they navigate when adjudicating tribal cases involving domestic violence. The panel will include time for questions and answers.
