The goal of the Supervised Visitation Immersion Training is to provide participants with interactive and intensive training designed to inspire and prepare trainees to become confidently equipped to operate a visitation center that addresses Intimate partner abuse, dating violence, child sexual abuse, sexual assault, or stalking. As a result of this convening, participants will:
Understand the experience of adult and child victims who have experienced intimate partner abuse, child sexual abuse, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence.
Incorporate a strong connection between understanding abusive behavior and the role of the supervised visitation program.
Develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their outlook on the world, and how this guides and directs their responses and decisions in their work.
Build a strong skills-based understanding of the practice of conducting supervised visitation services.
