Praxis is excited to announce that applications are now open for the third cohort of our Strengthening Rural Advocacy Project. We invite rural organizations to apply to be part of this vibrant and dynamic learning community of rural programs from across the country.
What is the Strengthening Rural Advocacy Cohort?
Praxis’s Strengthening Rural Advocacy cohort engages rural community-based and tribal organizations in a specialized assessment process, called the Praxis Advocacy Assessment for Strengthening Capacity (PAASC). The PAASC guides advocacy and service programs to assess then plan for structural, programmatic, and operational growth.Organizational teams that are selected for the SRA Cohort #3 will be guided by Praxis staff through a thoughtful investigation of policies, procedures, services, and structures over an 18-month period.
The SRA Cohort will learn and implement the PAASC through virtual and in-person activities beginning in March 2026 and ending in August 2027. The majority of activities are conducted virtually.
