Description: Join us for the interactive webinar “Responding to Youth Sex Trafficking: Community Coordinated Response,” where you will:
1) Explore Effective Community-Led Approaches: Gain an in-depth understanding of successful, community-driven responses to youth sex trafficking from Arizona, Washington, DC, and Westchester County, NY.
2) Learn Best Practices for Coordination: Discover key policies, procedures, and collaborative strategies for identifying, preventing, and responding to trafficking cases involving youth, emphasizing a unified community approach.
3) Strengthen Trauma-Informed Care: Understand the importance of trauma-informed care in supporting survivors and protecting vulnerable youth, with practical examples for social services, community organizations, and advocates.
This webinar will equip OVW’s CYEM grantees with the tools and insights needed to build stronger, coordinated frameworks that combat youth sex trafficking and safeguard children from exploitation. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in small group breakout discussions with the speakers.
