Join Keely Linton from Strong Hearted Native Women’s Coalition, Inc. to explore the unique barriers and safety concerns faced by tribal survivors and shed light on the complexities of victimization within Indigenous communities.
This session will highlight the profound importance of being a good relative, a concept rooted in Indigenous values of mutual respect, accountability, and community care. The presentation will provide an overview of resources specifically designed for tribal survivors and discuss how these resources can be leveraged to offer more targeted and culturally relevant support. Participants will learn strategies for fostering genuine, collaborative relationships with tribal nations and tools for supporting tribal survivors.
