Description

Rural Connect virtual sessions feature insights and strategies from subject matter experts on issues affecting rural survivors. We create space for peer dialogue about mitigating the challenges and building on the strengths inherent in rurallife.
Join us for the next Rural Connect, featuring LaShae Lopez from the Resource Sharing Project of the Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault, to learn about key skills in advocacy with rural survivors of sexual assault, including removing barriers to accessing supportive services and centering trauma-informed care. Presentation will be from 2:00-3:00 pm with facilitated peer-to-peer breakout discussions from 3:00-3:30 pm.
