This foundational training explores post-separation abuse and coercive control, and how these dynamics show up within supervised visitation and safe exchange (SV&SE) programs. Participants will build a deeper understanding of the lived experiences of adult and child survivors, as well as considerations for working with people who have caused harm. The training offers practical guidance for recognizing and responding to these dynamics within SV&SE service delivery in ways that center safety, healing, and the wellbeing of the whole family.
