The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW)-sponsored Grants to Improve the Criminal Justice Response (ICJR) Program and Enhancing Investigation and Prosecution (EIP) Initiative bring together partners committed to improving responses to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Yet, beyond carrying out this important work, project partners must also be able to tell a clear and compelling story about their collaboration, including who they are, what they are working to accomplish, and why their work matters.
This interactive webinar will help grantees and their project partners define and communicate the shared story of their collaborative work. Participants will learn how to blend data with relatable, real-world stories to demonstrate impact, engage stakeholders, and connect with a variety of audiences. The session will explore how effective storytelling can encourage victims to seek assistance; illustrate the value of coordinated responses to stakeholders and community partners; and foster understanding and support for project goals. Rather than simply reporting activities and outcomes, participants will learn how to communicate the lasting difference their work is making in the lives of victims and communities.
This webinar is available to active Grants to Improve the Criminal Justice Response (ICJR) Program and Enhancing Investigation and Prosecution (EIP) Initiative grantees at NO COST. When registering, please use your official organizational email address. Use of personal email addresses may result in delayed approval or denial of registration.
