Description

Join Futures Without Violence’s Robin Runge and the Center for American Progress’ Molly Weston Williams for a comprehensive overview of the different employment laws that provide leave from work to employees who experience domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

The state laws covered in this webinar will include:

  • Unpaid leave from work exclusively for survivors
  • Paid Leave Laws
  • Paid Family and Medical Leave Laws

Participants will leave this webinar able to describe why victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking may need to take time off of work, identify what types of leave may be available for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking, and articulate what steps a victim may take to access the leave available to them This webinar will be presented in English with Spanish and ASL interpretation.
