The Center for Justice Innovation is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our Enhancing the Court Process for Domestic Violence Litigants Workshop May 19-21, 2026 in Denver Colorado. This comprehensive two-and-a-half day training equips court administrators, court managers, and Clerk of Courts with the practical skills necessary to respond effectively to domestic violence cases.As a result of this program, you will be able to:
- Enhance professional observations and responses to domestic violence cases.
- Identify specific opportunities for leadership in the area of domestic violence prevention and intervention.
- Promote meaningful access to the justice system for all users of court services in cases involving domestic violence.
- Identify factors that may shape a litigant’s experience with safety and justice and their impact.
- Assess opportunities for collaboration within and beyond the courthouse to enhance safety and accountability in domestic violence cases.
- Apply an understanding of lived experiences to support more trauma-informed court practices.
