Custody Litigation Institute: Representing Victims of Domestic Violence in Custody Cases

Description: This course provides interactive litigation skills for attorneys who represent survivors in custody and family law cases. Participants will gain understanding on the impact of domestic violence on our clients and cases; develop an effective case theory; define the various players in a family law case and how they inform case outcome; obtain safe and effective visitation orders; integrate supportive witness expertise; and engage in safe negotiations.
