Sexual violence is widely underreported in culturally specific communities, and many service providers lack the survivor-centered approaches and specialized knowledge needed to offer effective support. While discussions on sexual violence often focus on intimate partner sexual violence (IPSV), it is crucial to broaden the conversation. Expanding programming and services to address sexual violence beyond IPSV ensures that all survivors receive the support and resources they need.
