Description

For the past seven years, the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence (NRCDV) has embarked on the journey to becoming an anti-racist and multi-cultural organization. We have been actively working towards strengthening organizational and staff capacity to develop and implement policies and practices that dismantle oppressive systems such as racism that disproportionately affects women, children, and individuals with marginalized identities and lived experiences that may increase one’s vulnerability to experience domestic violence.
Through this webinar, participants will learn about NRCDV’s organizational journey to advance racial equity internally and externally. The webinar will also provide participants with information on the training and TA that will be provided through NRCDV’s OVW TA project that can assist organizations in creating their own anti- racist and inclusive organization using the NRCDV journey model.
