Amplifying Capacity Together (ACT) Workshop
Description
You are invited to participate in the Amplifying Capacity Together Workshop, an interactive 2.5-day training, for OVW grantees and grant parters, to enhance your organization’s capacity and infrastructure. As a result of this workshop, participants will be better able to: a) Examine your organization’s mission and core values to determine whether they connect to your organization’s infrastructure. b) Identify strategies to address and manage organizational changes and build resiliency. c) Engage in comprehensive organization planning for sustainability. d) Lead your organization towards success while supporting staff leadership ability and professional growth to sustain services for survivors. e) Utilize workplace policies that promote organizational sustainability. g) Apply communication strategies that can help advance the mission of your organization. Participation in the ACT Workshop is in teams of 2-4 people with leadership roles from the same organization, which may include, but not limited to executive directors, program staff with leadership positions, and board members.
