Description
The Advanced Trial Skills Institute teaches and enhances the litigation skills of attorneys who represent survivors of domestic violence in contested child custody hearings and trials. Working from a hypothetical fact pattern, participants perform direct and cross examinations of expert witnesses, evidentiary foundations for electronic evidence, impeachment exercises, andclosing arguments, while receiving immediate feedback and constructive critique from expert faculty. As a result of participating in theAdvanced Trial Skills Institute, attorneys will gain confidence and improve their abilities to think quickly on their feet and effectivelyrepresent their clients in contested custody cases.
