The Family Justice Center movement was built from the framework of Children’s Advocacy Centers. Despite the shared founding vision, FJCs and CACs have generally specialized their efforts to combat home and community violence through unique modalities, services, and programs. However, recognizing the value in a more unified and symbiotic approach, there has been a recent surge of interest in aligning the two frameworks to better serve families. Join us, as Jennifer, from the Rockford Family Peace Center, and Kathy, from the Carrie Lynn Center discuss their crucial CAC and FJC partnership. They will also share tips and strategies to help your local Family Justice Center and Children’s Advocacy Center collaborate better!
