We seek to convene survivors, advocates, community-based organizations, the justice system, health care professionals, tribal communities, and others who work with older adults to inspire them to become collaborative problem solvers and change makers to address abuse in later life. The goals of the Abuse in Later Life National Conference are to increase awareness about the growing prevalence of abuse in later life (domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking of adults 50+), engage multidisciplinary professionals and interested parties to collaborate to build survivor-centered solutions to abuse in later life; and inspire communities to join in the movement to create and sustain coordinated community responses to abuse in later life.
