Description

Day 2 of a two-day institute for attorneys and legal staff who work with survivors of gender-based violence. This Institute will cover trauma-informed representation and best practices for trauma-informed legal services organizations. As a result of participating in this session, participants will be able to: (1) Connect impacts of trauma and trauma-responses to specific client needs (2) Develop trauma-informed case plans and case strategies (3) Identify challenges & solutions in representing survivors experiencing trauma. Further, supervisors who attend this session will with the tools to (1) Develop trauma-informed supervision plans (2) Identify challenges & solutions in supervision (3) Define a reasonable case balance and workload.
