In this two-part Boost, participants will learn about conceptualizing safety in the context of sexual abuse, understanding dynamics of childhood sexual abuse, understanding offender dynamics, and strategies to create and maintain safety during supervised visits. We will be joined by Jennifer Gross, who is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland and Virginia, a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider in Virginia, and a clinical member of ATSA (The Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse); and Marcella Rustioni, who is a Licensed Clinical Social (LCSW) in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC and a Diplomate Child Forensic Interviewer (DCFI). Rustioni is currently practicing at the Arlington County Child Advocacy Center (CAC).
