NCJTC/OVW Webinar & Ask the Expert Series

This series of webinars and “ask the expert” sessions have been developed under an Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) grant focused on enhancing victim-centered approaches in community corrections. A victim/survivor-centered approach focuses on the concerns and needs of the victim/survivor to ensure the compassionate and sensitive delivery of services in a non-judgmental manner. These topics were selected based on findings of in-person and virtual listening sessions with professionals from around the country. The topics and focus of the sessions are to provide information on evidence based and best practices in corrections systems to enhance victim/survivor centered services; individualizing the services and addressing the harm caused to victims/survivors of violent crime. A recording of each webinar will be posted at www.ncjtc.org/ovwrecorded. Please note, we are not able to provide a certificate of attendance for viewing recorded webinars at this time.
