DESCRIPTION:Praxis hosts Rural Restore sessions to provide space for candid
  conversations about vicarious trauma and resilience for rural survivors a
 nd the advocates that support them. These virtual events provide an opport
 unity for rural advocates to dialogue with each other\, sharing their expe
 riences about addressing burnout and enhancing healing for survivors.\n\nI
 n this highly interactive session\, we will envision a future where staff 
 burnout is minimized and services are strengthened for rural survivors of 
 domestic violence\, dating violence\, sexual assault\, and stalking. We wi
 ll feature a panel of staff from rural advocacy programs\, then move into 
 facilitated peer-to-peer breakout discussions that invite participants to 
 connect\, reflect\, and share strategies.
