DESCRIPTION:The IACP\, with support from the Office on Violence Against Wom
 en (OVW)\, is pleased to announce the newest Learning Collaborative for po
 lice professionals\, including but not limited to sworn officers\, investi
 gators\, victim services\, and trainers\, who are interested in improving 
 their agency’s response to domestic violence and sexual assault cases. T
 his Learning Collaborative will consist of monthly\, one-hour virtual sess
 ions where agencies can learn from and discuss topics with their peers and
  subject matter experts. Agencies will also review and complete each secti

 Approaches to Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency Self-Assessment and deve
 lop a tailored action plan at their own pace. Participants will also recei
 ve assistance from IACP\, our project partner\, the National Center for Vi
 ctims of Crime (NCVC)\, and subject matter experts. This Learning Collabor
 ative will help agencies develop and implement strategies that improve pol
 ice responses to domestic violence and sexual assault\; increase victim in
 volvement in investigations\; improve case outcomes\; and foster greater c
 ommunity confidence and trust. An IACP staff member will follow up with ad
 ditional registration instructions.
