Praxis hosts Rural Restore sessions to provide space for candid conversations about vicarious trauma and resilience for rural survivors and the advocates that support them. These virtual events provide an opportunity for rural advocates to dialogue with each other, sharing their experiences about addressing burnout and enhancing resiliency for survivors. This session will feature directors from rural advocacy programs who will explore strategies programs can implement to minimize staff burnout and strengthen their services for rural survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
