OVW Tribal Affairs Division Grant Implementation Workshop

The Implementation Workshop is designed to strengthen grantees’ ability to successfully implement and manage their grant projects and provide 1:1 training and support. The workshop will also provide an environment for Tribal leaders to connect with OVW staff and Tribal Coalitions. Sessions include:
In-person discussion with OVW grants management, evaluation, and financial staff
In-person discussion with OVW TA providers
Peer sharing/learning
Project development, management, and planning
Best-practices in addressing violence against womenOVW grant funds are authorized to cover travel expenses for up to five staff (project manager, financial manager), Tribal leaders, and/or project partners (Tribal law enforcement, etc.). All grantees are required to have at least one staff member attend.
This two-day event is specifically for Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Tribal Affairs Division grantees in Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado who have at least one of the following active grants:Tribal Governments Program (TGP)
Tribal Sexual Assault Services Program (TSASP)
Tribal Special Assistant US Attorney (TSAUSA)
