Have domestic violence survivors ever asked you if they can leave the state with their children? Have you ever worked with survivors who have fled to your state with their children for safety? Do you have questions about interstate cases that you never had a chance to ask? The Legal Resource Center on Violence Against Women (LRC) will offer an interactive office hours training for attorneys and advocates on July 9, 2026 from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. EST.
This session will give attorneys and advocates an opportunity to discuss interstate issues with peers and faculty. There will be a short introduction in which faculty will address several frequently asked questions. The remainder of the training will be a collective discussion of the interstate issues raised by participants.
