Nearly half of stalking offenders are current or former intimate partners. While all stalkers can be dangerous, intimate partner stalkers are, on average, the most threatening and violent towards their victims. Whether perpetrated during and/or after an abusive relationship, intimate partner stalking can be a form of coercive control and brings its own risk factors and safety planning considerations. In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM), SPARC (the Stalking Prevention, Awareness, & Resource Center) will provide this webinar to focus on recognizing and responding to intimate partner stalking.
